Mercedes-Benz JuniorCup January 6 & 7, 2017

VfB Stuttgart

The VfB Stuttgart is the only team that has participated in all 26 tournaments at the Glaspalast. The Swabians are known as the home team. The U19 of the VfB stood on the podium sixteen times for the presentation ceremony in Sindelfingen. In 2015, they reached the finals – truly not a bad result. In 2013, the VfB had Joshua Kimmich as the best player, but he now plays a bit further south. The last tournament victory is at least ten years ago, which causes the team to fall short of expectations in the U19 German Bundesliga. The new club management wants to give new structures to the once brilliant youth work of the club and to lead them back to their former strength. In the meantime, viewers should not underestimate the U19 players, after all the team wants to benefit from their home advantage at the Glaspalast in Sindelfingen.
